My transcription rates start at 2.00 USD per audio minute. Prices may increase due to audio quality, complexity of the audio, or if add-ons are selected.

For Education
Educational content is any content created primarily to inform and educate an audience. This may be lessons, video documentaries, updates on current events, and other primarily informative content. Commentary videos are not considered educational.

Why Transcribe?
Transcription is a powerful tool for accessibility and inclusion, ensuring that content is accessible to all individuals regardless of their hearing abilities or audio processing challenges.By providing transcripts for videos, creators extend their reach to a broader audience, including those who are deaf or hard of hearing, individuals with auditory processing disorders, and those who prefer reading over listening. Transcription can also enhance comprehension and facilitate language learning and translation, making content more accessible and impactful.
As a disabled person who personally struggles with an audio processing disorder myself, I am dedicated to making a wide range of content more accessible to others with disabilities like mine. I recognize I am lucky enough to be able to understand spoken language, but others are not that lucky. I want to ensure that content is more accessible to those with disabilities and that anyone can enjoy audio content.
Information
The Process
Once transcription services are requested, the video or audio file must be sent to me. For a youtube video, links to the video will work. I will then transcribe the video within the designated time frame. After transcription is complete, I will send the final transcription file and payment will be due. I will make edits and corrections for free at any point if needed.
Crediting
I politely request to briefly be credited in descriptions of uploads for my transcription services. It is not required, however appreciated.If you do decide to credit me, please do so via my name and a link to this website.
Quality Assurance
Should the transcription file not be up to standard beyond reasonable corrections, payment does not need to be delivered.
Delivery Time
The average delivery time for transcription is roughly one week. Times may be longer or shorter depending on how many transcription requests that I have. I work on one request at a time. You can see my progress on any particular request by viewing the schedule I send alongside order confirmations.
Payment
All payment is in USD. I take payments via Paypal. If you are unable to use Paypal, I may be able to work with you on other solutions. Please contact me.
